Kenya is 5G ready, Safaricom having launched it Nairobi and western Kenya in March 2021. Speaking during the launch, Safaricom’s CEO Peter Ndegwa affirmed that 5G is a game-changing technology that will amplify innovation across various sectors in Kenya.
